Eat for a Cause: The Yolanda Action Weekend (and more!)

Yolanda Action Weekend is a donation drive organized by Jeremy Slagle of Mr. Delicious, in which 50+ food establishments are allotting 20% of their total sales on November 16 and 17 to the victims of typhoon Yolanda. The proceeds shall go directly to the Philippine Red Cross fund. You may support this cause in three ways:


1. Dining in the participating restaurants like 8 Cuts Burger Blends, BRGR: The Burger Project, Wrong Ramen and Spring in McKinley Hill

2. Buying products from participating specialty stores like Abe’s Homestead and Fog City Creamery (see above photo)

3. Donating directly to Philippine Red Cross

Other establishments have also launched their fund-raising efforts, some of which are below:

1. Yabu – 100% of sales on November 13 (Wednesday), all Yabu branches

2. The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf – 100% of all sales from November 11-17, SM Jazz Residences branch (Nicanor Garcia Street, Makati City)
