Day 3 – Part 2
After Disneyland, we went to Lan Kwai Fong to have dinner with dancer friends.
We met up with Di, a friend from UP Filipiniana Dance Troupe who works as a
dancer in Disneyland. She has been staying in Hong Kong for four years now -- I
haven’t seen her since she left Manila, actually. It was awesome seeing her
again.

We picked an Asian restaurant serving Thai and Chinese food,
and we ordered Hainanese chicken, chicken sate, pork cutlets, roast chicken,
and four varieties of rice. It was probably the biggest meal we had since
coming to Hong Kong; I ate too much that I had to beg them to let me go back to
the hotel first before we started partying.
An hour after, I was all prepped up and ready to party! Lan
Kwai Fong is like the heaven for all party-lovers. Perhaps the most popular nightlife hot spot in Hong Kong, LKF is a mix of cultures, street
dancing, booze, loud music, drinking on the streets – it was simply awesome! I swear
I drank way beyond my normal limit in Manila and it felt so good! Filipina
waitresses were incredibly gracious, even giving us free drinks. There were lots of
Pinoy dancers inviting crowds with their amazing dance skills—they will start
to move and then the next minute everyone is going wild. I LOVED IT!!!!

How to Get to Lan Kwai Fong from Causeway Bay:
The easiest way is to take the MTR from Causeway Bay station and get to the Central Station in Central, Hong Kong. Lan Kwai Fong is a short walk from there. Once you see people spilling out of establishments, you'll know you're already there!
