Goodbye, HK: Our 4D/4N Hong Kong Itinerary

Day 5
February 3, Sunday

Drunk from the previous night, we decided to cancel the Big Buddha altogether and just stayed around Causeway and Central. The last day was dedicated to more shopping and city exploration—whatever we can accomplish in five or six hours. We were able to check out the huge Forever 21 store in Causeway and bought stuff for our friends and family. I got a few more cool stuff from Cotton On in LKF and G2000. We opted for a cheap, very late lunch at KFC before heading back. Along the way, we bought more souvenirs.

This Hong Kong trip is my best one ever, easily beating last November’s Cebu escapade. It’s not only because it’s an out-of-country trip (I enjoyed Cebu more than Singapore), but also because I felt like I had really gone out and travelled, if you know what I mean. Now I understand what people mean when they say traveling is one luxury nobody can steal away from you. It’s a cliché, but it is definitely true.

I am definitely going back to Hong KongThere is so much more about this amazing place and its awesome people and culture to discover.

Tips:
  • Notice that we don't like to party that much, hehe. You can actually maximize this itinerary by putting the Big Buddha on Day 4 (morning). Another cool suggestion would be to go on a day tour in Macau. Skip the LKF party on Day 3N and do the Tsim Sha Tsui stuff instead. Then, abolish the Victoria Park chill time and replace Day 3D/4N with a whole-day tour of Macau.
  • If you visit to Hong Kong happens to include a Monday or Tuesday, it's best to go to Ocean Park and Disneyland on those days because it will be less crowded.
