Enjoy Novotel Manila Araneta Center's Healthy N Sustainable Set Menu Until May 20!

In celebration of Planet 21 day, Novotel Manila Araneta Center is offering a special Healthy N Sustainable set menu from April 21 to May 20 in one of its dining outlets, the Gourmet Bar. The menu highlights sustainably-sourced ingredients from El Dorado Farm, Novotel Manila’s own organic farm, and Meliomar Inc., a reputable sustainable seafood supplier.

Planet 21 is the AccorHotels’ sustainable development program—an advocacy geared towards positive hospitality, where employees, customers, partners, and local communities are all involved in taking care of the environment. One aspect of this program is dedicated to providing healthy and sustainable food in all AccorHotels restaurants—and anyone who wishes to take part in this mission can support by trying Novotel Manila’s delicious special offering.

Aside from making sure that all menus are balanced and high-quality, AccorHotels also aims to reduce food waste—demonstrated by Novotel Manila’s commitment to donating excess food to the Philippine National Red Cross, for instance—and ensures that everything is sourced sustainably. This is why Novotel Manila only uses produce from their own farm in San Mateo, Rizal, and seafood from a supplier that supports responsible fishing practices.


And while everything prepared at Novotel Manila is sourced responsibly, the special Healthy N Sustainable set menu is available only for a month. The whole set is priced at PhP1,400 nett, but guests may choose to order the dishes individually as well. Check out the delicious dishes below:

I’m not kidding when I say that each dish was incredible. My favorites were the Grilled Trevally (every component in the plate elevated each bite), the Seared Tuna (simply exquisite), and the Cheesecake (a little sweeter than I would’ve liked, but the dark chocolate offset the sweetness).

Enjoy some tipple as well as two special sustainable cocktails are also part of this offering: the Papa Doble (Don Papa rum, calamansi juice, citrus and basil infusions) and the Spicy 6th Sling (Belvedere vodka, melon and chili infused gin).
