Photo Diary: 29 Years Later

As we grow older, we need to deal with less shit and weed out people and things who don't help us become better people. We need to make better use of our time and spend it on things that are worthwhile, because it is just as finite as our bank accounts. We need to choose our battles carefully and let go of stuff that don't contribute to achieving our goals.

On my birthday eve this year, I chose to spend time with a handful friends and celebrate in a place where I feel at home the most, with cold beers (which have always been my no-shit, ever-reliable companion). A simple night of catching up, eating "doughnuts", smelling stinky but delicious pizza, downing homemade beers, laughing at silly stuff, and basically feeling at ease with the thought that despite all the craziness in the world, there are a few things that you can rely on: a glass of cold beer, a sweet slice of cake, a true friend.

Thank you for reading my blog and I sincerely hope you find it useful and relevant to your lives. I promise to try hard to become better: a better blogger, a better dancer, a better photographer, a better person as a whole. Cheers always!

Many many thanks to my bestie, Alej, for the amazing photos. (He's not in any of the pictures. LOL. Peace, Bes.)
