IN PHOTOS: Fete de la Musique 2016 Kick Off Party

Novotel Manila Araneta Center was the host of this year's Fete de la Musique Kick Off Party. The event, which was held at the hotel's brand-new Versailles Event Garden on June 16, was attended by delegates from the French Embassy, Alliance Francaise, Tourism Board of the Philippines, Novotel Manila leaders, and selected people from the media. French artist Nathan Zanagar and his band regaled guests with live performances amidst free-flow wine and a sumptuous cheese spread.

Fete de la Musique is an annual music festival that aims to gather musicians and artists from all over the world and enjoy a night of vibrant and soulful pieces. The festival shall take place on different venues (see here for a comprehensive schedule) and will highlight both international artists and local talents like Up Dharma Down, Imago, Giniling Festival, Kjwan, Adinkra Lumads, and Kontragapi. All genres of music are celebrated: from rock, jazz, and hiphop to soul, acoustic, and electronica, and many more! So, if you're not doing anything this Saturday or on Thursday (June 23), drop by A.Venue or Intramuros for the Main Stages or any of the Makati pocket events to participate in the festivities. Check out their Facebook page for the whole list.
